History has never been so popular.  The man in the street has never been so well informed about his past as he is today.  And yet it is a sad and unhappy fact that for all that has been said, written and broadcast about the early and more recent history of mankind, there remains a very large body of historical evidence that is mostly passed over in silence by today's scholars.  And because it is passed over by today's scholars, it never reaches today's general public.
