Yoneko, a Japanese teenage girl loses her Mother. Trying to rise above her sorrow and frustration, the girl turns to philosophy for answers, but finds none. Then she joins her friends in many teen activities, hoping to fill the emptiness in her heart, but this only creates a greater emptiness. Desperate, she ponders suicide. Then, because someone had prayed and because there were those who care, this stark tragedy helps her to yield to the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
